These are the rules for using Manifest — the mobile app and this website. We've kept them short and plain. By using Manifest, you agree to them.

What Manifest is

Manifest is an alarm clock. When you stop the alarm, it shows you today's horoscope, an affirmation, and a single tarot card — in sequence, at your pace. It's operated by Takahito Yoneda. You can reach us at tkhtynd1991@gmail.com.

For reflection. Not advice.

Horoscopes, affirmations, and tarot cards in Manifest are for reflection and entertainment. They are not medical, legal, financial, psychological, or professional advice. If you're facing a real decision in any of those areas, please find someone qualified.

Don't use a horoscope to skip your medication, ignore a doctor, or make a financial bet. Manifest is a daily ritual, not an oracle.

No account, no cloud

Manifest doesn't use accounts. Everything you enter — your birth chart, journal, tarot history, intentions — lives on your phone. If you delete the app, the data is deleted with it. If you switch phones, you start fresh.

We don't have a way to back up, transfer, or recover this data on your behalf. That's the trade-off for the privacy.

Free use, optional Pro

The core ritual of Manifest is free. Optional Pro features are paid through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. Those platforms handle billing, renewals, and refunds according to their own terms. We can't process refunds directly — please contact the store you bought through.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel them in your store account. Pricing and exact features may change; if they do, the change applies to new periods, not the period you've already paid for.

What you agree not to do

• Don't reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the app or this site.
• Don't copy, redistribute, or resell the horoscopes, affirmations, or tarot interpretations Manifest delivers.
• Don't use Manifest to do anything illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or that infringes on another person.
• Don't pretend to be us, or build something that pretends to be Manifest.

Content ownership

The horoscopes, affirmations, and tarot interpretations Manifest delivers are owned by Takahito Yoneda or licensed for use in the app. The Rider–Waite–Smith tarot deck imagery is in the public domain. You're welcome to read these in the app, take screenshots for personal use, and share what's meaningful to you with credit to Manifest.

The app comes as-is

We try hard to keep Manifest reliable. But things break — phones, networks, servers, our code. The app and this site are provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

We can't guarantee the alarm will ring

Manifest is software running on a phone, and a phone is a device we don't control. The alarm may fail to ring, fail to make a sound, or fail to wake you for reasons that include — but are not limited to — the following:

• iOS or Android terminated the app in the background (memory pressure, long idle, low power mode, system update, etc.)
• You force-quit Manifest from the app switcher, restarted your phone, or your phone was off
• You denied, revoked, or never enabled notification permission for Manifest
• System volume was at zero, the phone was on silent, or audio was suppressed by a connected device (headphones, car stereo, etc.)
• Do Not Disturb, Sleep Focus, Low Power Mode, Background App Refresh disabled, or another OS setting suppressed the alarm
• The phone was in airplane mode, had no storage, was being charged, was overheating, or had hardware issues
• A bug or change in iOS, Android, the device firmware, or any third-party app or accessory
• Anything else outside our reasonable control

By using Manifest, you accept that we are not liable for any harm, loss, or damage that results from the alarm failing to ring or failing to wake you. This includes — but is not limited to — missed flights, missed trains, missed appointments, missed medication, missed exams, missed work, lost income, missed deadlines, professional consequences, health consequences, relationship consequences, and any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind. You use Manifest at your own risk.

Set a backup. Always.If missing an alarm has any real consequence — a flight, a medication, a job interview, an exam, a meeting, a child to pick up — do not rely on Manifest alone. Set a second alarm on a different system: your phone's built-in Clock app, a physical alarm clock, or a family member. Treat Manifest as a daily ritual, not as a safety-critical alarm.

We may change or stop Manifest

Manifest is built and operated by one person. We may add, remove, or change features at any time. We may also suspend or shut Manifest down entirely — temporarily or permanently — at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice. We'll give as much warning as we reasonably can, but we are not obligated to continue operating Manifest, to issue updates, to keep it compatible with future iOS or Android versions, to fix bugs, to respond to support requests, or to find someone to take the service over.

Reasons we may stop include — but are not limited to — life circumstances, health, family, illness, accident, business decisions, lack of viability, changes in App Store or Google Play policy, changes in third-party services Manifest depends on, legal or regulatory changes, or simply choosing to retire the project. By using Manifest, you accept that the service may end and that you have no claim against us — for refund, replacement, compensation, damages, or anything else — if it does.

We are not obligated to migrate, export, transfer, or preserve any data, content, or functionality on your behalf if Manifest is discontinued. Anything stored locally on your phone remains on your phone; we have no way to recover it for you.

What "Lifetime" means

If you buy a one-time "Lifetime" unlock, "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the Manifest service — for as long as Manifest continues to operate. It does not mean your lifetime, and it is not a guarantee that Manifest will operate indefinitely or for any minimum period.

If we discontinue Manifest, your Lifetime access ends along with the service. We will not owe you a refund, partial refund, pro-rated refund, replacement product, store credit, alternative service, or any other compensation, regardless of how long Manifest operated after your purchase. Refunds, if any, are handled solely by the App Store or Google Play under their own policies, and we have no role in that process.

By purchasing Lifetime access, you accept this risk. If you are not comfortable with it, please use the monthly or yearly plan instead, or stay on the free tier.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the "Last updated" date at the top will move. Material changes will be noted on the homepage. Continuing to use Manifest after a change means you accept the new version.
