Manifest is built on a single principle: your personal data stays on your phone. This page explains what that means in practice — what we hold, what we don't, and why.
Who runs Manifest
Manifest is operated by Takahito Yoneda, an individual. Questions about anything on this page go to tkhtynd1991@gmail.com.
What we never collect
- Your birth chart — birthday, birth time, birth place — never leaves your device.
- Your journal entries, intentions, and any text you type in the app.
- Your tarot history— every card you've drawn and when.
- Your chosen tone, name, and any other personal setting.
All of this is stored in a local database on your device. There is no cloud account. There is nothing for us to leak, sell, or hand over, because we never receive it.
What we do collect — and why
1. Your waitlist email (this website)
If you submit your email through the waitlist form on this site, we store it for one purpose: to email you when Manifest launches. We never share, sell, or rent it. We won't use it for marketing beyond that one launch email. You can ask us to delete it any time by writing to tkhtynd1991@gmail.com.
2. Anonymous app analytics (when the mobile app launches)
The Manifest mobile app uses PostHogto count how often people open which screens — for example, "the affirmation screen was viewed 1,200 times today." This is anonymous and product-only. Your birth data, journal content, and personal identifiers are never sent. You can turn analytics off in app settings.
3. Purchase records (only if you go Pro)
If you subscribe to Manifest Pro, the App Store or Google Play handles the transaction. We use RevenueCat to verify your subscription status. None of these services see your personal app data — only the receipt.
How alarms are delivered
Manifest schedules your alarm directly on your phone using the iOS or Android local notification system. Nothing about the alarm is sent to our servers, and we do not deliver alarms through Apple's APNs or Google's FCM. Whether the alarm actually rings depends entirely on your phone and its operating system — see our Terms of Use for the limits of what we can guarantee.
How daily content is delivered
All horoscopes, affirmations, and tarot interpretations are bundled inside the app at install time. Nothing is fetched from a server. Personalization (your name, your goal phrasing, your zodiac filtering) happens locally, on your phone, from data that never leaves your device.
Switching phones
Because everything is local, switching phones means starting fresh. Your past journal entries and tarot history won't carry over. We think it's a fair trade for never being a product.
Children
Manifest isn't intended for users under 13. We don't knowingly collect any data from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, the "Last updated" date at the top will move and we'll mention it on the homepage.
